Delicious Summer Superfood Smoothie Recipe
It's hot, let's make smoothies!
When it's hot I simply cannot eat hot foods, so for breakfast (and sometimes lunch), I will often make smoothies to lower my body temperature and get all the nutrients that I need in my body. Smoothies are the easiest way to get all your fruits and veggies in at once and to move on with your day. Smoothies are also my absolute favorite breakfast.
Here is my favorite summer smoothie recipe to get you going and to get that temperature down to normal. Side note: it is seriously delicious.
One huge handful of kale
One huge handful of spinach
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 teaspoon spirulina
1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
1/2 - 1 cup water
Add all ingredients to a mason jar and blend.
